Wings in the News

The January 2016 issue of Suburban Lifemagazine profiled Wings' very own treasurer and former president, Mary Pat Knauss.

The full-page article described how Mary Pat retired from the work force at the age of 48 to pursue opportunities to give back to the community. That decision brought her to Wings, where she quickly went from being a volunteer to assuming a leadership position. The article spotlights not only Mary Pat's inspiring story but the wonderful work Wings does to help women gain autonomy, confidence and the skills needed to succeed in the workplace.

Special Thanks to QVC

We want to take a moment to thank QVC for their ongoing and generous support of Wings for Success. In addition to providing emcees for our fundraising events, QVC recently sponsored a company-wide, box-car derby competition in which the winner got to designate a non-profit organization to receive the proceeds. The winning employee chose Wings for Success and we were fortunate to receive an incredibly generous donation of $47,000. These funds will go a long way toward helping empower women in our community. Thank you, QVC, for all that you do for us!
