Update on PA Workwear Contract

The PA Workwear contract is an important source of funding for Wings for Success. In previous years, we have received approximately 12% of our revenue and 10% of our clients from the PA Workwear Contract.  To ensure that these state funds continue to be available to support our work, we are partnering with Career Wardrobe, who has been awarded the PA Department of Human Services contract for the PA Workwear Program throughout Southeastern Pennsylvania, for the current PA Workwear contract period. This relationship allows us to continue to serve the women of Chester County as we have done since we first opened our doors in 1997.

Wings for Success is proud to have helped more than 8,500 women in need to become economically self-sufficient by outfitting and equipping them for job training, interviews and the workplace. Our impact increased in 2015 when we opened an office in Kennett Square for the convenience of clients in Southern Chester County.  Wings’ mission, programs and strong commitment to serve women in need in Chester County will not change as a result of this new partnership. We pride ourselves on being able to offer our Clothing and Workshops to women at no cost, and to provide not just work-appropriate clothing, but all of the Finishing Touches that make a difference to our clients.
