Appearances and Attitudes Transformed
During Fall Professional Makeover Day

On October 26, 2009, twelve deserving Wings clients
entered
the Pulse Beauty Academy in Downingtown, PA,
and emerged looking and feeling like brand new women.
The occasion: Fall Professional Makeover Day, an event in
which several Wings clients received a new career outfit
along with a new haircut, hairstyle, and makeup lesson –
all at no cost.
The transformations went beyond the mere physical.
Many attendees reported leaving the workshop with
greater confidence and hope and an increased sense of
preparedness in embracing the next step in their careers.
This highly successful event was made possible by the
generosity of Pulse Beauty Academy, which donated its
stylists, the use of its facility, and all materials, as well as
by Donna Holloway and Marian McIlvain, representatives
of Mary Kay Cosmetics.
