How You Can Help Women in Need
As a community-driven organization, Wings For Success is able to assist disadvantaged women from our local neighborhoods in large part due to the volunteers who donate their time, skills and love. Within a highly appreciative and rewarding environment, Wings tailors each volunteer’s role to her interests and background. Example opportunities include:
- Marketing strategy & execution
- Business relationship development
- Other professional services: legal, accounting, fundraising,
web content updating, public and media relations, print graphic design - Community relations & public speaking
- Workshop/seminar services (presenters, stylists, makeup artists, etc.)
- Grant research & writing
- Special events planning
- Clothing donor contact
- Personal clothing stylist, direct client contact
- Clothing/closet maintenance
- Office help
In addition to the above on-going opportunities, Wings for Success currently has a need for the following help:
- Office Support: Have a free morning and looking for an opportunity to give back to your community? Wings is in need of administrative support on Wednesday mornings. Basic computer skills with knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word and Excel primarily) is desired. If interested, call our office at 610-644-6323.
