CLOTHING PROGRAM: Our services are open to anyone who needs clothing, at no cost! We require appointments for our services so that we can help you find the perfect outfit for your needs. Appointments last 1 hour and guests can receive up to 6 pieces of clothing with accessories and toiletries (as supplies last).

The types of clothing you can receive at your appointment includes:

  • Professional clothing for a job search and interview
  • Business casual attire for your new job
  • Special attire for industries such as retail, medical, agriculture
  • Casual clothing to fill your closet after suffering a setback such as overcoming trauma, abuse, crisis, or after incarceration

PA Workwear Appointments: If you have a PAWW referral from a CAO or EARN Center, please book an in-person appointment at one of our partner counties in Montgomery or Berks counties.

Appointment Guidelines & Expectations:

We understand that emergencies happen. If you need to reschedule, please call as soon as possible. We want to focus on you. Please arrange for child care for young children requiring your supervision.

Our trained volunteer stylists will help you put together appropriate outfits for an interview, employment, or other needs.

When you arrive at Wings,  you will be greeted by your volunteer stylist who will help you navigate our store. The Wings stylist will talk with you about your clothing needs, style and sizes to help design a look just for you. The Wings store is stocked with clothing in all styles and sizes.

In your personal dressing room, your stylist will work with you until you have the clothing you need to succeed. Once your clothing has been selected, your stylist will help you with other needs such as shoes, a handbag and accessories, as well as new undergarments.

You will leave Wings feeling like a new person, full of confidence and pride, ready for success!


ONE-ON-ONE ADVICE SESSION

Whether you’re exploring new career options, updating your resume or want advice on preparing for interviews, we can help you with tailored one-to-one support. Meet by phone or on a video conference call with an experienced volunteer who can help you enhance and develop the tools, skills, and confidence you need to be successful in today’s job market.

Complete our online One-on-One Advice Session Form to request an appointment and we will be in touch with you to schedule this session. All of our services are free of charge.

Our One-on-One Advice Sessions cover the following topics:

Career Path – Advice and resources to help you explore career options that may be a good match for your interests, skills, and experiences.

Job Seeking Tips – Advice and suggested resources for a successful job search, including tips related to the job application process.

LinkedIn How-Tos – How to take advantage of Linkedin to build your network connections to individuals who can offer you advice and references in your job search and career.

Resume Review – How to create a strong resume that increases the likelihood of you being invited to a job interview, including a discussion of resume “must-have’s”.

Job Interview Preparation – Best practices to help you “Ace your interview”, including how to prepare for interview questions, and how to highlight your strengths to potential employers.


WORKSHOPS

Wings for Success helps you build confidence not only by providing work-appropriate clothing, but also by providing workshops to support our clients as they embark upon their job search and prepare to start new jobs. We provide workshops in partnership with several agencies in the region, as well as annual workshops that are open to the community. All of our services are free of charge. Presentations in Spanish are available upon request.
